The ‘old’ version of the chess publisher is now made available here at this server. Now you can create chess diagrams using whichever version of your choice in one place.

Quick and simple creation but without game comments |

Andrew,
Looking for an alternative to ChessPublisher during your site’s recent downtime, I did a bit of research and discovered that:
- chesspublisher v1 is essentially an interface to a PGN viewer not written by you (I think it comes from chessgenie.com, though I may be wrong)
- chesspublisher v2 is essentially an interface to another PGN viewer not written by you (the LT PGN viewer at http://www.lutanho.net/pgn/pgnviewer.html)
Don’t get me wrong - I’ve no problem with you taking free work and improving it by making it more accessible. Indeed, I think that what you have done is very useful. I just wondered whether you didn’t think that it would be nice to give a bit more credit to the original authors who (in all honesty) did much of the hard work?
Cheers
David

You are right, David. I never intended to take all the credits as chesspublisher is an interface and just facilitates adding diagrams into blogs.
You can find the credits to the original authors in my about page

Ah, I hadn’t spotted that - good stuff.
