Removed ‘Replay’ button from Chess Publisher
By admin on Sep 16, 2007 in Updates

One problem with Chess Publisher is the need to press the ‘Replay Game‘ button first. I don’t know about you but I find that quite irritating. People would normally just try to press the play [>] button and expect the pieces to move.
So, I’ve removed the the ‘Replay Game’ button to make it more “user friendly”.
Another change is that if the move text is very long it will now ‘wrap under’ the board. In the older version the space under the diagram is just blank.
Take a look:
Tell me what you think.

I experience this as a major improvement as mentioned on http://chessteaching.blogspot.com on which some alternatives to publish chess games on a blogsite are compared.

Hi!
I use youe gorgeous pgn editor in my blog, but today i have a problem with this pgn in 1 and 2 version of your editor:

I solved problem n°1 i.e. 62.g8Q writing g8=Q but then seems it doesn’t understand that white as 2 queens(!) and start make errors in replaying moves.
Where am i wrong?
Thanks!
Best regards
